We offer a wide range of oral surgery treatments – including our core area of expertise, the placement of implants. Dr. med. dent. M.Sc. Strößner has extensive surgical experience and in-depth specialist knowledge. Combined with state-of-the-art medical technology, this helps to carry out a procedure as gently and painlessly as possible – something that matters to us just as much as the success of the treatment.

- Tooth and wisdom tooth extraction: We use modern, gentle techniques for all tooth extractions. Removing wisdom teeth becomes essential when a lack of space means they could lead to various complications.
- Exposure of impacted teeth: Teeth that remain completely within the jawbone or grow out at an angle don't always need to be removed. Depending on their position, surgical exposure followed by orthodontic treatment may be enough.
- Apicoectomy (root-tip resection): Despite the greatest care, inflammation of the “tooth nerve” doesn't always heal after one or more root canal treatments. With an apicoectomy, the tooth can nevertheless often be preserved.
- Lip and tongue tie correction: Correcting a lip or tongue tie (frenulum) can be advisable or indicated for several reasons. Through a minor surgical procedure, we remove or shorten the frenulum.
- Surgical crown lengthening: This treatment can be considered, for example, when a crown or larger filling is to be fitted but the tooth is really too short for it. We gently remove a small amount of bone around the tooth root and, where necessary, some gum tissue. Aesthetic reasons can also apply (when a lot of gum is visible while smiling).
- Mini-implants (orthodontics): These small titanium “pins” are used to anchor special orthodontic treatment appliances. They can, for example, replace the unpopular external brace (“headgear”). Once treatment is complete, the mini-implants are removed again.
