How the day works
- Planning in advance: 3D X-ray (cone-beam CT), digital scan and trial set-up – the position and shape of your new teeth are determined before we begin. The implants are planned using guided surgery (X-Guide).
- Morning: Removal of teeth that can no longer be preserved, and placement of the implants – on request under sedation or general anaesthesia.
- Midday: Our master dental technician adjusts the prepared bridge in our in-house laboratory to match the actual implant position.
- Afternoon: The fixed temporary bridge is screwed into place. You go home with fixed teeth.
- Healing phase (approx. 3–6 months): soft food for the first few weeks, check-up appointments, guidance on oral hygiene.
- Definitive restoration: Once healing is complete, we make the final bridge from zirconia ceramic or high-performance polymer.
Advantages of the Concept
- no temporary toothlessness, no removable temporary restoration
- fewer implants (four to six per jaw) and usually no bone augmentation – resulting in a shorter treatment time
- one surgical procedure instead of several sessions
- generally more affordable than a restoration using eight or more implants
- Sedation or General Anaesthesia Available
Whether the concept is suitable for you is shown by the preliminary examination with 3D X-ray: what matters is the available bone, general health and oral hygiene. The treatment outcome depends on these individual factors.
What does “Fixed Teeth in a Day” cost?
As a guide: full-jaw treatment with four implants and a fixed bridge, according to our current price list, costs around €15,000 to €24,000 per jaw – this is the out-of-pocket share for patients with statutory health insurance, with the health insurer's fixed subsidy already deducted. The range depends on the number of implants, the material of the final bridge, and any preliminary treatment that may be needed; privately insured patients receive reimbursement on the total fee depending on their tariff. You will receive the written treatment and cost plan with the expected costs after your examination. Our implant cost calculator provides an initial estimate. Instalment payment is possible via BFS health finance.

Immediacy Center of Excellence
For immediate implant placement (“Immediacy”), our practice is a partner practice in the Immediacy Center of Excellence programme run by the Straumann Group. Requirements include documented case numbers, regular continuing education, and a fully digital planning and production workflow.
Who treats you?
Implant placement is carried out by Dr. med. dent. M.Sc. Sandro Strößner, Master of Science in Oral Implantology and Periodontology, who has been working in implantology since 2013. The dental technology work is produced in our own in-house laboratory, headed by master dental technician Kristin Schulz.
