Preserving your natural teeth for as long as possible – that is a founding principle of our practice. Root canal treatment serves this very purpose, which is why it is one of our focus areas. The only alternative to this treatment is extracting the tooth!

Quality-enhancing and time-saving procedures
Alongside the dentist's sound expertise, modern techniques are called for, as root canals are often very fine and branch out. We offer you quality-enhancing methods that considerably shorten treatment time and increase the chances of preserving the tooth:
- Rubber dam isolation (where needed) for as bacteria-free a treatment environment as possible. This also prevents you from accidentally swallowing any rinsing solutions.
- Illuminated magnifying loupes to help locate fine root canals more easily and work with greater precision.
- Electronic root length measurement for precisely determining the length of the root canals, and for fewer X-rays.
- Machine-driven preparation using highly flexible, ultra-fine nickel-titanium files. This makes it possible to treat even severely curved root canals effectively.
- Thermoplastic filling methods for a root canal filling that is as complete and bacteria-tight as possible.
We're happy to show you explainer videos about this treatment in person at the practice – or you can take a look at our media library.
