Who is responsible for what
Implantology and periodontology are the responsibility of Dr. med. dent. M.Sc. Sandro Strößner, practice owner. Paediatric dentistry is led by Dr. med. dent. Ricarda Müller, employed dentist; orthodontics by Dr. Lena-Maria Merkle, employed dentist; oral surgery is shared by Dr. Zviad Pholadashvili, employed dentist, and Dr. Strößner. Tooth preservation, fillings and root canal treatments are in the hands of Johannes Deutloff, employed dentist, and the whole team. All names and faces: Our team.
Implants and fixed teeth
- Dental implants: 3D-planned, as a rule placed with X-Guide navigation, crown from our own laboratory. Single tooth with crown from 4,090 € out-of-pocket amount.
- Fixed teeth in a day: four to six implants per jaw and a fixed bridge, as a rule on the same day.
- Ceramic implants: metal-free, made of zirconia, when it suits the findings.
- Implant cleaning for peri-implantitis: electrolytic cleaning with GALVOSURGE.
- Immediacy Center of Excellence: what the programme requires, what it is and what it is not.
Tooth preservation
- Root canal treatment: with rubber dam, magnifying loupes, electronic length measurement and mechanical preparation. Patients in pain as a rule seen on the same day.
- Inlays and fillings: tooth-coloured composites, ceramic inlays from our own laboratory.
- Periodontology: cleaning gum pockets, preserving teeth, aftercare at fixed intervals. See also: Periodontitis and general health.
- Laser dentistry: in surgery, in root canal treatment and in periodontitis therapy.
Dental prosthetics and aesthetics
- Dental prosthetics and complete restoration: crowns, bridges, telescopic crowns, dentures, repairs and relines from our own laboratory.
- In-house master laboratory: 3D printing, 5-axis milling, zirconia, hand-layered ceramic.
- Impression-free restorations: scan instead of impression, crown or inlay often on the same day.
- Aesthetic dentistry: veneers, all-ceramic, try-in before fitting. See also: whitening in the practice after a preliminary examination.
Surgery, anaesthesia, anxiety
- Oral surgery: wisdom teeth, apicoectomy, exposures, bone augmentation, with aftercare reminders on your phone.
- General anaesthesia and sedation: sedation or general anaesthesia on our premises, introductory appointment without treatment for dental anxiety.
Prevention, children, orthodontics
- Professional dental cleaning and prophylaxis: about 60 minutes, 140 to 160 € out-of-pocket amount, children 88 €.
- Paediatric dentistry: first visit without a drill, parents stay with the child, treatment under general anaesthesia if needed.
- Orthodontics and aligners: for children, adolescents and adults, covered by the statutory health insurance according to KIG.
- Biological dentistry: metal-free, protected amalgam removal, autologous blood concentrate (PRF).
Jaw joint and sleep
- Functional and jaw joint diagnostics (CMD): for grinding, clicking, jaw pain and headaches; occlusal splint from our own laboratory.
- Anti-snoring splints and apnoea therapy: mandibular advancement splint in coordination with sleep medicine.
